| Mike
Carr, Owner and Instructor
of Mike Carr Karate & Fitness, is currently a 4th degree
black belt in Chinese Kenpo with advanced belts in Judo and Ju-Jitsu.
Michael is the only certified shootfighting instructor in North
Carolina under World Shootfighting Champion Bart Vale. Carr is
also a certified cardio kickboxing instructor under the National
Association of Professional Martial Artist and a certified personal
trainer under the International Fitness Professionals Association. |

Assistant Instructors
Clay Davidson, 29, is a 1st degree black belt under Mike Carr.
He has been an instructor for Mike Carr Karate since 1999. Clay is
a full-time paralegal and a part-time musician. Clay currently instructs
the adult karate program at the Lake Jeanette studio.
Karen Strickland, 40, is part-owner of Cambiare, a dental supply
company. She is a 3rd degree brown belt instructor at Nan's School
of Dance. She has two children, Deeanna and Stephanie, in the Mike
Carr Karate program.
Kelly Cox, is an advanced ranked red belt instructor under
Mike Carr, and has been teaching for three years. Kelly is also a certified
trainer, kickboxing instructor and marathon trainer. Kelly's son, Eric,
is a junior black belt
Eric Strom, 28, is a full-time, well-known artist in Greensboro.
Eric received his 1st degree black belt in October, 2003. He currently
heads up the kids' karate program at the Madison-Mayodan rec center.
Eric is also a part-time musician who plays the drums.
Ted Bonham, 50, is a pilot for US Airlines. A 1st degree
brown belt, Ted instructs the Tumblebees karate program. Ted's son,
Chance Bonham, was one of Mike Carr Karate's first black belts. Ted
is also an avid musician and builder in his spare time.
